The Bennett House, located on historic Main Street in Richmond, Kentucky, was saved by Rita and Richard Smart.  They patiently established it as a bed and breakfast in order to preserve this architectural jewel of central Kentucky.

Rita, a professional home economist, found the Bennett House a perfect fit to use her decorating, culinary and social skills for true southern hospitality.

Her popular “first Saturday monthly teas” quickly established a reputation for the house as a fashionable gathering place for private dinners, receptions and little girl tea parties.

The Bennett House Bed and Breakfast provides an opportunity for guests, town-folks, friends and neighbors to share in the wonderful experience of enjoying great food in a relaxed atmosphere among fine antiques and historic architecture.
